PANTENE

1.) Name all the elements you see and hear.

All of their products has Pro Vitamin formula that moisturizes the your hair so that it will look shiny and healthy. Pantene was the only hair shampoo which provide this kind of treatment wherein it makes your hair healthy and shiny.

2. Where is the setting?

This was shot inside the Pantene studio where they covered all the walls with white cloth. In the middle of the place, there's a white stage that has a huge PANTENE name in the middle.

3.) Since this was shot using the camera, try to descern the language of the camera by listing the angles (long shot, medium close up, close up) and the corresponding scene that it tries to capture?

The placement of the camera intended to capture a close up shot in the beginning. Then long shot and the rest was close up.

4.) What is the beginning, middle, and end?

The beginning of the commercial: Selena was the main character of this commercial wearing a white dress and her hair is curly and silky. There's no music playing in it's background. While walking in the white aile, Selena talks about using the blow drier that makes her hair looks dry. After this, the camera seems to be a long medium shot wherein she was standing on a white stage with a hair blower facing on the side of her that made her hair fly away.

The middle: The middle of the commercial is where she introduced the product which is Pantene. Saying that the Pantene shampoo was the reason why her hair still looks healthy despite the heat and damaging effects of using blow drier. The Pro V formula was shown in that shot, which locks a moisture inside her hair that makes it strong.

The end: The ending was, there was no effects of 100 blow dry remain in her hair. She flips her hair and shares how much she loved the product knowing that the shampoo made her hair strong and looks moisturized.  This commercial ends with a tagline 'Strong is beautiful'

5.) A commercial is always selling a product. How is this commercial selling its product? what is its most potent way of selling the product?

What made this product interesting to the audiences was, they chose Selena Gomez as their main in this commercial. The makers of Pantene really knows how to attract their audiences. What made this commercial interesting was the visual effects and the props that has been used. But for me the most potent way on selling this product was they should add more people that can serve as the background behind Selena. They should also pick an area which is more unique and colorful because the setting that they picked was dull for me.

6) Are there memorable lines or visual effects? What makes it memorabe?
The memorable line for this product is "Strong is Beautiful". While the memorable effects was the blow dry wherein it made some of Selena's hair flew. I also liked how they made her hair more silky and shiny because this urged me to buy their shampoo.
